This is a very handsome gun with wonderful handling and some of the best balance I have felt on an Italian gun. The action is engraved by Granetti with an open floral design and dark background stippling. The furniture and action are 95% covered and have a coin finish with no discernible wear on the engraving. The action is a seven pin with a double Purdey underlugm articulated trigger and disk set strikers. The barrels are 27 1/2", 2 3/4" chamber, and very clean bores that measure: .728/.725 and chokes: .017/.025. the barrel blue is 95% and the rib is a medium width hand filed with a brass bead. The stock is a straight grip/ splinter with 30lpi chequering and great figure dark finish. The lop is 14 3/4" to a chequered butt, 1 3/4" dah, 1 1/2" dac and 0 cast. The wood to metal fit is very good as original...
