This is a Jules La Bantchni custom sporter built with a Springfield action and a custom barrel. These rifles are sometimes know as "Jules" rifles and are among the very best bolt action rifles ever built in the U.S. The action is very clean with 95% blue and a Lyman 48 with the slide and no crossbar. The scope is a Lyman Alaskan that is clear and has very clean exterior finish and is mounted on a Redfield mount. The blue on the barrel and the floor plate is 98% with the barrel being a 22" round with a perfect bore. The rear sight has had a blank installed and the front sight is a barrel band ramp with a hood. Barrel band sling swivel, fancy one panel bolt handle, and crestplate. The stock is in 98% condition with above average chequering and finish, wrap around chequering at the grip, horn grip cap, 13 1/2" lop to a steel buttplate.
