Cogswell and Harrison 12 Gauge Avant Tout Konor. Tight boxlock ejector action with sideplates and third fastener. It has auto-assist opening and a single trigger. Full-coverage engraving on the blued action. 30" barrels have high condition blue with some thinning at muzzle. Good bores with light pitting. Bores measure: .736/.740; and chokes: .011/.035. Straight grip/ splinter stock has 16" LOP to a butt. Without stock extension, LOP would be 14 3/4". 2 1/4" DAH and 1 1/2" DAC. Walnut wood has a nice straight grain. Winchester Model 70 Pre 64 30-06 Target Rifle
Winchester Model 70 Pre 64 30-06 Target Rifle Wartime Production 1942 Manufacture with proper U.S. ordinance marks. The action on this rifle is extremely clean with good original blue and function. The froward ring has a mount for a Lyman scope. The barrel is 24" with a very good bore and the proper Winchester markings and ordinance proofs. The forward sight has a blank installed with the rear sight being filled with a Lyman mount. The stock is a later style replacement with a proper 13 1/4" lop to a factory buttplate. The finish appears to be original with the only incorrect thing being a bit of glass filler at the rear of the cloverleaf action. These rifles were purchased during the second world war for rifle training by the U.S military. Sedgley Springfield .25 Roberts. The action on this rifle is very clean with 85% blue and a Lyman 48 that is cosmetically clean and correctly mounted. The barrel is 24" with a good bore and 95% blue. The R.F. Sedgley markings are clear with the rear sight being a rollover two leaf style and the front is a barrel band ramp with a hood. The stock is very clean with some minor handling marks and two spots that are more like scratches, a bit more serious than handling marks. La Bantchni Springfield Sporter 30-06
La Bantchni Springfield Sporter 30-06. This is a Jules La Bantchni custom sporter built with a Springfield action and a custom barrel. These rifles are sometimes know as "Jules" rifles and are among the very best bolt action rifles ever built in the U.S. The action is very clean with 95% blue and a Lyman 48 with the slide and no crossbar. The scope is a Lyman Alaskan that is clear and has very clean exterior finish and is mounted on a Redfield mount. The blue on the barrel and the floor plate is 98% with the barrel being a 22" round with a perfect bore. The rear sight has had a blank installed and the front sight is a barrel band ramp with a hood. Barrel band sling swivel, fancy one panel bolt handle, and crestplate. The stock is in 98% condition with above average chequering and finish, wrap around chequering at the grip, horn grip cap, 13 1/2" lop to a steel buttplate. Woodward 12 Gauge Automatic Underlever Ejector
Woodward 12 Gauge Automatic Underlever Ejector. The action on this gun is tight with a push forward underlever and medium eye cocking indicators. This is one of the regular sidelock automatics with the nice arcaded fences, but without the broad back just forward of the topstrap. The action is silver with 95% coverage of tight very well done scroll engraving. The screws are in good shape and the front trigger is articulated. The barrels are 29" with good bores that measure: .737/.742 and the chokes are: .007/.022. Most Woodward barrels are 29" from the factory, these are Whitworth chopper lumps proofed to .740 with proper makers marks on the tubes. The stock is a semi-pistol grip with good chequering and finish. . The wood is of the style of the factory original wood with the proper chequering and colour. The lop is 14 1/4" to a thin plate, 2 1/8" dah, 1 5/8" dac, 1/8" cast off, 6lbs 6oz.
