Sedgley Springfield .220 Swift Perfect Bore Sedgley Springfield .220 Swift With a Perfect bore. This is a 95% condition overall rifle. The action is a 1903 Springfield with 98% blue and a Lyman 48 that is in very good condition. The barrel is 24" with a barrel band ramp and hood front sight and 98% blue. The R.F. Sedgley marking is clear as is the caliber marking. The forward ring of the receiver has been drilled as has the barrel 6" forward of the action. This was done to facilitate the use of a target scope and the holes have the period filler screws in place. The stock is very clean and almost in "as new" condition with strong chequering and finish. the lop is 13 1/2" to a factory metal buttplate. The condition on the various parts of this rifle match and appears to be original. The bolt is very smooth and the trigger is very good with no creep. 8lbs 4oz 25313309 03078851
