The action on this gun is very clean, jeweled trigger guard, custom trigger, Blackburn bottom metal. All bluing is in very good shape. Bolt has been jeweled and is extraordinarily smooth. The barrel is 24 " and is a Winchester stock barrel with expressed sights - one standing, three folded. Hooded front sight. Barrel band sling swivel. The stock is a full custom with the best chequering I have ever seen in person. Banded and fleur-de-lis with different size chequering inside the fleur-de-lis bands. Skeleton grip cap with star and chequered background. Double band cheek piece. Inletted sling swivel. The quality of the wood is wonderful and the balance is far above average. This is a totally custom gun in every way. 14" LOP.

La Bantchni Springfield Sporter 30-06. This is a Jules La Bantchni custom sporter built with a Springfield action and a custom barrel. These rifles are sometimes know as "Jules" rifles and are among the very best bolt action rifles ever built in the U.S. The action is very clean with 95% blue and a Lyman 48 with the slide and no crossbar. The scope is a Lyman Alaskan that is clear and has very clean exterior finish and is mounted on a Redfield mount. The blue on the barrel and the floor plate is 98% with the barrel being a 22" round with a perfect bore. The rear sight has had a blank installed and the front sight is a barrel band ramp with a hood. Barrel band sling swivel, fancy one panel bolt handle, and crestplate. The stock is in 98% condition with above average chequering and finish, wrap around chequering at the grip, horn grip cap, 13 1/2" lop to a steel buttplate. They were hunted on every continent by one hunter. The action is clean with a Griffin side mount, 2 pane engraved bolt, bolt is jeweled, light loss of blue on floor plate, the scope is a Lyman Challenger that is clear and in good condition. The barrel is a Winchester with original Winchester open sights, clean bore, good blue. Paul Mossiers Model 88 Custom 8mm S Bore.323 The action on this rifle is clean with strong case colour, cross hatched forward ring, extends on to barrel and also at rear of bolt, all original German proofs with no reproof, double set trigger, strong original blue on magazine/ floor plate. The barrel is a full length octagonal with a three quarter length integral rib, top of rib and barrel are hand filed and very attractive. We have cerrosafed the chamber and barrel to find it is a standard .323 diameter, S bore for readily available 8MM Mauser ammunition. The stock is a pistol grip with good finish and chequering, engraved crest plate, case coloured steel butt,14" lop, 7lbs 13oz. The scope is a Hertel& Reuss 8X47 that is clear with good exterior finish and is mounted on period quick detachable mounts. The barrel is 21", 1/2 oct/ 1/2 round with a very good bore and strong blue. The open sights are 1 standing, 1 folded with a ramp front. The triggers are double set and work well.
