The action on the gun is tight and very mechanically sound with a third fastener and nice trigger pulls. the action is silver with full coverage of well done open scroll. The barrels and furniture show 90% blue and the bores are very clean, measuring: .732/.732and chokes: .010/.019. The stock is a straight grip/ splinter with above average wood and wood finish. The scroll engraving is sharp, full coverage, well done open scroll. The 27" barrels have high condition blue with no thinning and mirror bores that measure:.731/.730 and chokes of:.006/.007 cyl./cyl. The semi-pistol grip stock/splinter fore end has a 14 1/2"LOP to an original plate with 2 1/2"DAH and 1 1/2"DAC with mild cast off. The wood on this gun is non-typical for the era with marble figure that is very defined.
