The action on this rifle is clean and smooth, retaining some blue, open scroll engraving on the floor plate and trigger guard, Lyman rear sight, and Griffin & Howe scope mount rings. The barrel is 24" long with good blue, 3 folding rear sights, fixed front sight, and great bore. Sedgley Springfield .25 Roberts. The action on this rifle is very clean with 85% blue and a Lyman 48 that is cosmetically clean and correctly mounted. The barrel is 24" with a good bore and 95% blue. The R.F. Sedgley markings are clear with the rear sight being a rollover two leaf style and the front is a barrel band ramp with a hood. The stock is very clean with some minor handling marks and two spots that are more like scratches, a bit more serious than handling marks. The finish is very good and the lop is 13 1/2" to a metal buttplate. This caliber is very rare in a Sedgley. 8lbs 3oz 09531 S150 $3600.00

Griffin & Howe Springfield Custom 7MM Mauser. This is a very clean rifle with great handling and a very clean bore. The rifling is strong and the wood is above average. The action is very clean with a Lyman 48 and both have been reblued at some point, the job is top notch, almost tough to judge. The trigger is good and the blue is 95% overall. The forward sight is a barrel band, as is the forward sling swivel, all in good condition. The stock is in very good, 95% condition with strong chequering and finish. The wood itself is well figured and all appears to be period to the gun. The lop is 14" to a fancy steel buttplate with a Fleur De lees pattern and a trap. John Rigby .275 Rigby Oberndorf Action. This is a very early Mauser Oberndorf action, built in 1898 for commercial sale. Rigby bought these in order to build them into sporting rifles. The action is very clean with numbers matching, a very smooth action, neither bridge has been drilled, and a nice single trigger. The barrel is 25" with a good bore and nice blue, stepped down, adjustable rear sight. The stock is a straight grip with no chequering, nice finish, and the stock appears to be original, 14 1/4" to steel buttplate. Griffin & Howe Springfield .30-06 Kornbrath Engraved
Griffin & Howe Springfield .30-06 Kornbrath Engraved. This rifle was built 1926-27 and engraved by Rudolph J kornbrath. The floor plate has 85% coverage of tight scroll with the name Dr. H.C. Harper in gold inlay. The engraving continues onto the triggerguard and is sharp with 80% coverage. The bottom screws are engraved in a fancy pattern with the work continuing onto the barrel and the trap style butt plate. The action has a bordered panel on the forward ring, action blue is 90% with some wear at the edges, 2 panel bolt knob, very good trigger. There is a Lyman 48 mounted at the rear, a Noske sidemount with blind screws, and a Ziess Zeilviermi fixed power scope that is clear with strong blue on all. The barrel is 22" with a banded rear sight, 2 folded, and stippled on top to cut down on glare. The forward sight is a barrel band style with a hood, a small brass bead, and border engraving around the base, bore quality is 85% with some frosting ahead of the chamber. The stock is Griffin quality wood with a horn fore end cap and grip cap, strong chequering and 855 original oil finish. The lop is 13 3/4" to a trap butt plate. 9lbs 2oz.
