SW Silver Sidelock 12 Damascus, This is an early sidelock with the dipped locks built by the company that invented the Silvers pad. the action is very tight, silver, with gamescenes on both sides of the reciever, the bottom of the action and the triggerguard. The barrels are 30" damascus, strong barrel brown and bores that measure:.727/.728with chokes:.007/.023. The stock is a round knob, pistol grip with a splinter forend. the wood is in very good shape with nice figure ad very nice finish. the chequering is sharp and the lop is 14 7/8" to a Silvers pad. The stock is a straight grip/ splinter with a 14 1/4" lop to a Pachmeyr pad. The dah is 2 3/4" and the dac is 2", 0 cast. The chequering and the finish are good. Built 1910. Joseph Lang boxlock damascus 12. the action on this gun is a Westley Richards C-Bolt action that is mechanically sound and tight on the face. The action is 80% covered with very small scroll that is sharp, the action does show evidence of pitting, very light. The bores are very clean and have new nitro proofs. The barrels were proofed with a .746 diameter in the left barrel, the wall thickness is good at .026 thou. the bores measure: .735/.748and the chokes are: .004/.025, the chamber is 2 1/2" and the barrels are 30". The wood is in nice shape with flat chequering, the length of pull is 14 3/4" and the drop is 2 1/4" the gun weighs 6lbs 11oz 063961 S129 $3300.00

John Wilkes Boxlock ejector 12, coin finish reciever with 80% coverage scroll. The John Wilkes name is inlaid in gold on both sides of the reciever. The gun is very mechanically sound and tight on the face. This gun was no. 2 of a pair. the bores are very clean/mirror and measure to:.730/.733 and the chokes are:.009/.010. The barrels are 28" long and the blue is 95%. There is a nice makers identificaton inlaid in gold along the rib, really cool! The stock has good figure and crisp chequering, 14 1/4" lop to a chequered butt. The drop is 2" and the gun weighs 6lbs 3oz. The engraving continues to the sideplates and the furniture. 80% blue on the furniture 95% on the barrels. The action is very tight with a hidden third fastener and great triggers. The barrels are by Fredrick Beesely and in great condition. The bores measure:.727/.727, chokes:.005/.015with proofs at:.724. The wood on this gun is non-typical for the era with marble figure that is very defined.
